We are free to choose, but we are not free to alter the consequences of our choices.
Ezra Taft Benson
God does notice us, and he watches over us. But it is usually through another person that he meets our needs. Therefore, it is vital that we serve each other.
Spencer W. Kimball
Choose you this day whom ye will serve; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Joshua 24:15
Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God.
Doctrine & Covenants 88:119
...cease to sleep longer than is needful; retire to thy bed early, that ye may not be weary; arise early, that your bodies and your minds may be invigorated.

Great words to live by. Thanks for sharing and giving me a nice boost this morning.
You're fantastic. Thanks for posting these words of wisdom. It was fun the other night, gabbing with girls, eating those pepedoos or whatever they're called, and the glorious balsamic drenched onions. mmm.I'm so glad your mom was there, too. She's very cool.
Beautiful statements and very true. I just wish I had less trouble with the last one! (going to bed early and rising early)
Wonderful words of wisdom ... a great reminder for me when I get in my afternoon lull.
And I love the new pictures you have up on your side bar ... you have gorgeous kids!
So true.
(Just remember that there are times in our lives that we need more sleep than at other times- don't forget to not run faster than you have strength for.)
I love all those quotes, except the last one. :-) Maybe that's because I never quite feel like I can get enough sleep. I enjoy the random thoughts, though they all seem to work together as a set as well.
I threw that last one in there for fun! I neither retire to bed early nor arise early. And as for sleeping longer than needful...well, one can aspire, right?
